Slavoj Zizek was a dissident in Tito's Yugoslavia, but now calls himself a communist 
again. The Slovenian philosopher and psychoanalyst has written over fifty books in 
the last few decades and became popular because of an endless number of public 
appearances as inspiring as they were provocative. In those appearances the 
"thought beast of Ljubljana" showed himself to be an eloquent critic of the social order
since the end of the Cold War. 

Through imagery we confront him with the "Backlight" themes of 2010; The economic crisis
in 'crisis as opportunity', 'Energy and Ecology', 'Exit Afghanistan' and 'Crisis of democracy'.
